Job Description
The Ideal Logistics Operations Specialist who will be reporting into the Shipping Manager will have the following responsibilities:
3. Manage delivery of imported products directly to our customers and into our own warehouse
4. Deal with all logistics and administration for each delivery, including liaising with customers about their requirements, use of shipper portals and customs clearance
5. Liaising with the sales, purchasing, warehouse and transport teams
6. Update stock and order records using Excel and Sage 200
7. Keep supplier/product data current and share with customers as needed
8. Update technical product information, send out internally and to customers
9. Maintain good relationships with warehouse and transport partners to meet the needs of the business
10. General admin duties to support the purchasing and technical team
11. Commute to Huddersfield
The Successful Applicant
The Ideal logistics Operations Specialist will have the following attributes and skills:
12. An understanding of Logistics, Administration or fast-moving business
13. 2-3 years of logistics experience
14. Strong Sage 50/200 skills
15. Data Driven
16. Keen eye for detail and strong organisation skills to prioritise workload
17. Good communication skills
18. Ability to work in teams
19. Commute to Huddersfield
