Direct Medics Healthcare Recruitment are seeking a compassionate and skilled Specialist Mental Health CAMHS Practitioner to join the South Staffordshire Team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people (CYP) with complex mental health needs. Contract is for 3 months initially, working 4 days per week, 9am-5pm. In this role, you will: Assess and deliver safe, effective interventions for CYP, managing complex risks in line with clinical guidance. Manage and coordinate a caseload of CYP with complex mental health needs, collaborating with the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT). Provide clinical leadership and support to the CAMHS team, ensuring high-quality care and service delivery. Work collaboratively with wider teams and services to meet the holistic needs of CYP and their families. Offer advice, support, and supervision to other healthcare professionals Requirements We seek a dedicated mental health professional with: Qualification in Mental Health Nursing, Social Work, Allied Health Professions (AHP), or equivalent. Professional registration with HCPC, NMC, or equivalent. Extensive post-registration experience working with complex mental health needs in a community setting. Experience as a Care Coordinator for individuals with complex mental health needs who may struggle to engage with services. Proven ability to make autonomous decisions while supporting individuals and families in the community.
