JOB DESCRIPTION About the role We have a new opportunity for an experienced Property Paralegal to join our established in-house Legal Services team based in London on a fixed-term contract for 12 months. This is a full-time position, working Monday - Friday, 35 hours per week. We offer a hybrid working style. The successful candidate will be supporting the Senior Property Lawyer with providing efficient and effective legal advice on a wide range of matters across Guinness. You will be responsible for managing your own caseload, taking instructions from internal Stakeholders, liaising with external parties, drafting commercial and residential property documents, raising and answering property enquiries, reviewing property deeds, title registers and associated documents to prepare reports and provide advice to internal Stakeholders on general property queries. About you You'll not only be a knowledgeable Property Paralegal, but you'll also be able to demonstrate: Experience of undertaking or assisting in conveyancing transactions including leases, transfers, licences, staircasing etc. Understanding of and experience dealing with legal property documents and HM Land Registry procedures. Ability to present information in a variety of forms to a high standard, including excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills. Highly organised and methodical with excellent attention to detail. Experience of working to deadlines and targets. Excellent IT skills, in particular Microsoft Office. Previous experience of working in a housing association or public sector body is highly desirable.
