Nilpeter are looking for an Operations Associate to join their UK service department. The role encompasses Inventory control, receiving and fulfilling customer orders, supporting the engineering team to ensure all the necessary parts are available to meet specific planned deadlines. Main Duties – Responsibilities: * This role shall assume responsibility for the Spare parts inventory * Working as a part of the service team to meet time critical deadlines HSE Responsibilities * Part of the general Health and safety team and activities associated with this including COSHH updates Administration * Stock control using our accounting package, currently Sage, training will be given * Raising purchase orders for suppliers, general purchasing and annual stocktakes * Ensure all internal communications are read, understood, adhered to, and acknowledged Quality Control * Take an active role in the continual improvement * Involved in monthly reporting Stock Control and Delivery / Logistics * Maintain an understanding of logistics, suppliers, and IT. To ensure a professionally run stock control and warehouse system * Maintain a close working relationship with suppliers * Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports, or exports * Taking in deliveries, unpacking, updating inventory Skills and Abilities * Proficient with internal reporting software -Training is given * Strong communication skills * Forklift truck/counterbalance licence desirable. /Or willingness to undertake training * Computer literate with MS Windows and MS Office packages; full training on in house packages Experience * Previous Stock Control position * Computer literacy Qualifications * Experience with stock control systems. * Experience with import/export documentation process * A full UK driver’s – FLT License required however training will be given, but candidate must be willing to undertake training
