Role
The organisation exists to prevent homelessness and find routes out of homelessness into independent living for the people we support every day.

Purpose of the Service
To address the unique and complex needs of individuals who are experiencing both homelessness and abuse. This service aims to provide support, protection, and resources to survivors of domestic abuse and gender-based violence who are also facing the challenges of homelessness.
Purpose of Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to join our team as a Domestic Abuse and Gender-Based Violence Practitioner with a focus on individuals experiencing homelessness. The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing specialized support and advocacy for those facing the intersection of domestic abuse, gender-based violence, and homelessness.

The Person Needs To:
* Attend and participate in monthly reflective practice groups.
* Attend and participate in monthly team meetings.
* Attend, prepare for and action monthly case management meetings.
* Evidence training and development undertaken to meet SSSC requirements.
* Participate and contribute to debriefing of significant incidents and near misses.
* Take responsibility for scheduling and preparing for supervisions, case management meetings and appraisals.

Four Square Homelessness Charity seeks a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Community-Based Practitioner, specializing in homeless prevention. In this role, you will focus on proactive measures to prevent homelessness within the community by providing support, resources, and advocacy to individuals at risk.
Our Homeless prevention services are designed to address and mitigate the factors that can lead individuals and families to become homeless. The primary purpose of the service is to intervene before people lose their homes, providing support and resources to help them maintain stable housing.

Base
You will be based in our office in Hardengreen, Dalkeith but expected to work across Midlothian.
Salary, Conditions, Pension

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the Moira Anderson Foundation (MAF), a values-based charity that supports children and adults affected by Childhood Sexual Abuse. We are recruiting a Client Support Officer to work with adults.
Warmth, empathy, and compassion are key attributes for this role. The Client Support Officer will possess a relevant qualification or have experience in working with adults who have experienced trauma.
The post is funded for 21 hours per week in year 1 and 17.5 hours per week in year 2. The salary is £26,380 pro rata. Working days will be agreed to meet the needs of the service, some evening work will be required.

The Role
