Job summary We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Band 3 Therapy Assistant to join our dedicated Elective Therapy Team at Heatherwood Hospital. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about delivering high-quality rehabilitation care to patients following their elective procedures. You will be working alongside specialist Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Therapy Assistants to deliver rehabilitation to patients following their elective procedure. If you are enthusiastic about patient care and eager to develop your skills in a supportive team environment, we would love to hear from you Main duties of the job You will work closely with specialist Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and Orthopaedic Technicians to support patients across the elective pathway, including Orthopaedic, Breast, and Gynaecology surgery. Your role will involve working flexibly acrosspre-assessment, day surgery, inpatient wards, and private services to ensure patients receive the best possible care. To participate in continued personal development and other departmental activities. To work flexibly across an extended seven day service covering 07:00-19:30pm Monday to Saturday and 0800-1600 on Sundays.
