We are working with an independent insurance brokerage in the Birmingham area who are due to growth, looking to secure a Branch Director to oversee the office.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business whereby you can have a huge impact on performance of the office and create your own stamp.
The Opportunity
This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to take that next step into a Leadership role with the possibility to move up the ranks within a growing broker.
You will be heavily involved in the leadership of the branch, driving new business/performance, client management, and recruitment.
You will manage your own book of clients and have full broking responsibility over this book and be responsible for growth and retention of this account.
If you are currently a Senior Account Executive looking to take that next step up and wanting more responsibility, this could be the role for you.
What’s needed for me to be considered?
1. You will need commercial insurance experience ideally from a broking background.
2. Good knowledge of insurance is essential ideally including commercial combined, property owners, construction, and professional indemnity.
3. Qualifications in the insurance sector (CII) are preferable but not essential.
4. Strong leadership skills.
5. The ability to manage change and projects.
6. Good entrepreneurial flair and the ability to spot opportunity.
