This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days per week in our Whitwell-on-the-Hill office. Due to the beautiful remote location, access to your own transport is essential.
This role can be either part-time or full-time hours, worked between 30 and 37.5 hours per week, over 7 days on a rota basis.
Salary: £23,400 + commission + bonus p.a. pro-rata
Role:
* Offer expert advice to our customers and guide them to make the best holiday choice.
* Book a variety of travel elements such as flights, rail and accommodation.
* Own the booking until the itinerary has been confirmed.
* Provide quotes in a timely manner, and follow up with customers to maximise every sales opportunity.
* Clearly describe and explain our beautifully crafted holidays to customers during the reservation and confirmation process.
* Maintain accurate records of all enquiries, quotes and bookings.
* Switch customers to alternative holidays if their first holiday choice is not possible.
* Communicate and collaborate effectively with the operations and product team.
* You will receive a commission payment for every booking you make (based on a percentage of the value of each booking).
Person:
* You will be a reliable individual with the maturity and experience to build excellent rapport with our customers.
* Previous experience in sales or customer service roles.
* You enjoy walking or cycling holidays.
* Excellent telephone and inter-personal skills with an ability to work effectively in a team.
* Good written skills.
* Keen eye for detail.
