Role Summary
My client is currently recruiting for a Regional Finance Analyst to join their friendly team. This role involves supporting the Regional Financial Controller with the preparation and analysis of weekly and monthly reporting.
Key Skills
* Support in budgetary cost control, forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting.
* Preparation of management accounts and KPIs.
* Assist in weekly and monthly variance analysis to aid decision-making.
* Manage relationships with third-party suppliers and internal stakeholders.
* Liaise with managers to understand core risks and opportunities.
* Maintain overall financial control and manage risks.
* Ensure accurate reporting through appropriate checks.
* Review monthly accounts and advise on any ad-hoc journals needed.
* Prepare expense reports and routine journals for period end.
* Update initiative trackers and prepare weekly labour reports.
* Submit weekly/monthly SAP inputs and meet SAP cycle deadlines.
* Develop effective cross-functional working relationships at all levels within the business.
* Cover for others in the Regional Logistics Controlling team when required.
Personal Profile
* Strong accounting background and familiarity with Financial Accounting principles.
* Analytical skills with the ability to provide insights from data.
* Hands-on approach to core IT systems and strong spreadsheet skills (SAP experience preferred but not required).
* Excellent organisation and communication skills.
* Ability to manage and influence decision-making within the site leadership team.
