We are looking for a dedicated and reliable person to join our team, to provide driving support and administrative support to our client in South-End-On sea and the Chelmsford area. 1 day a week on Mondays. 9am to 5:30pm * Please note that due to a change in commitments you may have to travel to the office based in Chelmsford. Travelling time to and from the office will be paid.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to use existing skills to make a difference.
The role involves mostly working one to one with our client, providing administrative support to facilitate their own professional role.
About the Role: -
As the Administrative Support Worker your responsibilities will include:
Working with a visually impaired social worker and meeting other vulnerable adults in care settings and Council offices.
Supporting a qualified social worker to prevent harm to older adults
Diving our client to various locations in the Essex area, approximately twice weekly, supporting their role (when required)
Taking and typing up detailed notes
Inputting information into a software system (training provided)
Proof reading and sending emails as directed
General ad hoc administrative/ supportive duties
The role allows for flexibility in some occasional work from the clients home, Essex County Council buildings
About You
It is essential that you can demonstrate:
An excellent understanding of Microsoft programmes, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Teams
A relaxed and easy-going personality with a very high level of written/verbal communication and professionalism
Have, or willing to obtain a valid up-to-date DBS and be able to provide proof of update service
Have a full UK Driving License
* Have an enhanced Dbs
Demonstrate a high level of trust, integrity with a good understanding of confidentiality and professional boundaries
Punctual, organised, and reliable
Be able to work well within a wider social care team.
Flexible to travel to different areas of Essex
Excellent observational skills
Adaptable to change
Excellent understanding of English and Maths, with suitable qualifications i.e. |GCSE’s or equivalent
Would be beneficial to have an understanding of adult social care or prior care experience.
Pay, Hours and Benefits
In return you will be paid £14.35 per hour, working hours 8 hours per day. 1 day a week Monday (ability to cover holiday and sick leave as this is a job share)
