Job description: Group Social Media Manager The role: This is an exciting and varied opportunity for a creative and innovative Group Social Media Manager to work across a diverse portfolio of 3 unique, expanding companies. This is a new role for a commercially minded individual with creative flare who can effectively communicate with a variety of audiences. All three business have existing social media platforms that have potential for significant further organic growth. We are looking for an energetic and passionate social media expert to expand our reach, engagement and brand loyalty across the relevant platforms in line with our strategic goals and business aims. Blakes London is a multi-award-winning joinery design studio, celebrated for creating one-of-a-kind luxury kitchens and joinery packages, frequently featured in top design publications. Wolfe Vets was launched in 2020 and currently has two small animal veterinary hospitals based in Chiswick and Fulham. Wolfe Vets offers an exceptional standard of round the clock care, treatment and facilities, as well as more routine consultations, health checks and procedures expected at a family vet. Wolfe Vets are passionate about pets and animal welfare; and believe that pets and their owners deserve to be treated with expertise and compassion. As an independently owned practice, it is important that the brand reflects community engagement, trusted local care and a service available 24/7 to provide expert care in an emergency (including a range of advanced surgeries and inpatient care). It is critical that all social platforms reflect our caring ethos and allow our audience to see our excellent practitioners at work. Key responsibilities: Social Media Develop and implement a social media strategy for all three organisations, taking account of the business objectives and existing brand priorities. Plan and create new, relevant and exciting content for social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and other channels such as YouTube). Proven content creation and ideation experience. This requires the ability to edit and publish multiple media types. Respond to direct messages on the social media channels to engage and maintain relationships with clients, associated brands, potential staff members and business contacts. Work collaboratively with key members of the team from Blakes London, Wolfe Vets & Mascot Bespoke Homes to understand what is happening in each of the businesses (in real time) and generate regular content, which is engaging and reflects the brands. Plan ahead with the directors and Blakes Marketing consultant, to ensure content is well-thought-out and anticipates big events or changes which need to be communicated. Analyse the effectiveness and engagement of social media posts and channels (engagement metrics, staying on top of trends and new platforms). Review the longer-term requirements for each of the businesses and outline necessary changes to the directors. Celebrate achievements (accreditation, team successes, innovative technologies etc). Communicate key messages for clients (e.g.: closures for development days, Christmas opening hours). Analyse competitor content to understand the wider market and their social media strategies. Provide regular analysis of the effectiveness of different social media campaigns and events to ensure a good return on investment. Ensure images are captured at all key company events for use on social media. Event Management: Support in the planning and organisation of key marketing events for Wolfe Vets (e.g. organise and attend dog shows and other community-based events). Explore potential for new marketing/events/opportunities for collaboration related social media content across the 3 companies. Be an active stakeholder within the local community, seeking to identify opportunities to build brand awareness and connection at events that support engagement with potential customers, existing customers, suppliers and partners. Essential skills: A minimum of 3 years’ experience with corporate social media marketing – you can demonstrate your background and understanding of managing successful corporate social media accounts and community management, preferably within the luxury market. Experience of managing multiple social media platforms – You have experience working across several brands. Content creation and editing skills : Experience of visualising and creating new content and editing content effectively. You possess basic graphic design and video editing skills, and you are competent using tools to produce visually appealing content tailored for social media platforms. You can establish the best way to communicate a message, whether that’s our most recent project or posting a thought leadership piece to connect and engage with our audience. A data-driven approach: familiarity with social media analytics tools to track, measure and report on the success of campaigns and posts. You understand how to best address algorithm changes and get the best results from each platform. A commercial mindset : you are capable of connecting the dots and understanding our USPs, brand values and the ‘why’ behind each post. Excellent written and verbal communication skills: you possess an ability to write clear copy and engage graphic, photo and video assets. You ensure that social media messages are clear, well thought out and impactful, whilst maintaining the correct tone of voice. Desirable skills: The candidate should ideally have a genuine passion for Interior Design and animals; knowledge and prior experience working in these sectors would be advantageous. Hours & facilities: 40 hours a week (Monday-Friday) Some flexibility on working hours and locations is important, as you will be responsible for organising and attending approximately 1 weekend/ evening marketing event per month (across the three companies and locations within London). You will split your time effectively and efficiently between the Blakes London & Mascot Bespoke Homes office at 46-48 Jaggard Way, London, SW12 8SG, the Wolfe Vets hospitals in Chiswick & Fulham and relevant sites both completed and under construction (where necessary, with H&S escort). (It is anticipated that the Blakes London and Mascot Bespoke Homes office in Wandsworth would be your main work location).
