We're looking for a Graduate Health & Safety Advisor to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks team based in Exeter, Devon or Brighton, East Sussex.

Location: Exeter, Devon or Brighton, East Sussex - with national travel required on a regular basis
Contract: Permanent, full time - 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £29,250 per annum

As a Graduate Health & Safety Advisor, you'll be supporting the development and implementation of health and safety policies and procedures within the organisation. Your role involves assisting in risk assessments, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and promoting a safe working environment.
Your day to day will include:
* Assist in conducting risk assessments and identifying potential hazards in the workplace.
* Support the development and implementation of health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
* Undertaking health and safety advisory visits, inspections and audits where required for operational sites.
* Help with the investigation of accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and assist in preparing reports and recommendations for corrective actions.
* Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations and standards, and provide guidance to staff on safety practices.
* Assist in the delivery of health and safety training programs and awareness sessions for employees.

When you join, you will be enrolled onto our graduate scheme. The programme will take 2 years to complete and has been designed to equip you with the skills you need to excel in your chosen profession and help you achieve professional membership or chartership.

What are we looking for?
We're looking for people due to graduate in 2025, or have recently graduated within the past three years, with a degree in Health and Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental Healthor a related field.
The role of Graduate Health & Safety Advisor is great for you if:
* Have basic knowledge of health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
* Hold strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks and recommend effective safety measures.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to explain safety procedures and engage with staff.
* Attention to detail and the ability to manage and maintain accurate safety records and documentation.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Hold a full UK driving licence.
