Our client SP Energy Networks are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join the team based in Bonnybridge to join the team on a contract basis. It would be a contract role for 12 months initially and a Monday to Friday role. Role As a Logistics Team Member role, you will be responsible for a fast-paced process that requires a high level of accuracy in your work as you monitor and assist in the good in/out process. Duties will include Picking, Packing and Matching up of orders in a timely fashion with complete accuracy. What you'll be doing At Scottish Power our priority is to Operate in a safe manner complying with all health, safety and environmental requirements to ensure own and safety of others. • Take delivery of goods and supplies • Check for damaged or missing items • Store goods appropriately • Pick and pack orders for dispatch • Move stock around either by hand, using lifting equipment or a forklift truck • Load goods for dispatch • Input data regarding stock and inventory into the SAP ERP system (Training Provided) • Keep accurate stock records • Carry out weekly stock counts locally and across the network as and when required • Ensure that all lifting and manoeuvring of product is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures • Operate in a safe manner complying with all health, safety, and environmental requirements to ensure own and safety of others • Handle any hazardous materials in an appropriate manner What you'll bring • Excellent Time Management skills. • Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative. • Flexible approach and ability to prioritise tasks. • Developed skills using Microsoft Office Packages.(Word and excel) • Familiarisation of SAP, Plant and Circuits, Business Objects. (Not critical) • Valid Clean driving license (Class 2 would be advantageous) • Preferably Experience operating forklift trucks (counterbalance Reach) but will put candidate through this if required.
