Senior Quality Engineer
Location: Stoke-On-Trent
Role Description
We are looking for a full-time on-site Senior Quality Engineer to join our AS9100 accredited cable harness manufacturing team based in Stoke-On-Trent.
As the Senior Quality Engineer:
* you will be responsible for overseeing quality engineering, quality control, quality assurance, product quality, and quality management processes on a day-to-day basis. You will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety throughout our operations.
* Your expertise will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems and processes that adhere to industry regulations and standards.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement quality management systems in compliance with industry standards.
* Analyse data to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement in quality processes.
* Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
* Prepare and maintain documentation related to quality assurance activities and audits.
* Coordinate and conduct training sessions for employees on quality practices and policies.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field is preferred or relevant experience.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality engineering or a similar role within a high reliability manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in data analysis and statistical process control methodologies.
* Certification in quality management (e.g. Six Sigma, ISO) is highly preferred.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
