Support Worker (Specialist Service) Location: Britton Ferry, Aberavon, Cwmavon, Cwmafan Pay/Salary: £12.83 per hour - £13.01 per hour DOE and qualifications, with additional pay for sleep-in shifts (£65.68) and waking nights (time and a third) Shifts: Accommodate part time (16 hours) or full time hours (37.5), but would need to work shifts on a rota basis to include weekends. Your responsibilities will include: Providing physical, practical, and emotional support Promoting equality and anti-discriminatory practices Assisting with daily living activities, household tasks, and personal care Supporting individuals to integrate into their local community Implementing and following Positive Behavioural Support Plans Maintaining effective working relationships with parents, carers, and advocates We need staff who can work flexibly, including weekends, bank holidays, waking nights, and sleep-in duties. What You Will Need Basic numeracy and literacy skills Commitment to achieving relevant qualifications (BTEC Positive Behaviour Support, Care qualifications) Desire and ambition to work in the Care Sector Full, clean driving licence.
