Customer Service Advisor
Who are we: Everton Football Club is one of world sport's most respected and revered names - a by-word for innovation and professionalism during the course of a glittering history that spans three centuries.
One of the 12 founder members of the Football League, Everton has played more games in English football's top flight than any other club.
While rightly proud of our rich past, and Goodison Park, our home of more than 130 years, we are now setting our sights on an exciting future at a state-of-the-art new Everton stadium currently being constructed on the banks of the iconic River Mersey.
In doing so, we remain committed to developing and supporting teams across our men’s, women’s and Academy set-ups that inspire and compete at the highest level of the game.
Our values underpin how we behave, how we represent our club in our city and across the world of football, and how we look after one another and our community. They provide a framework for how we work and engage with partners, suppliers and, most importantly, our fans.
About the opportunity: We have exciting opportunities as we look to our final season at Goodison Park and transition to our new home at Everton Stadium from next season. In order for us to give our fans the best possible service at such a pivotal time in our history, we are looking for experienced Customer Service Advisor(s) to join us and support in both inbound and outbound communications from our customers whilst continuously representing our club, our values and a ‘Nil Satis Nisi Optimum’ service at all times via our CRM and Salesforce system.
You will be the first point of contact for customers, so it is essential that you build rapport and relationships quickly and ensure that all enquiries are dealt with in a friendly and professional manner.
Other core responsibilities you will cover as part of this role include:
* Maintain a transparent ‘priority response policy’ ensuring that the most urgent queries are attended to as early as possible.
* Help and assist the Customer Services Supervisor / Manager with the introduction and roll out of ‘Live Chat’ during unsociable hours, ensuring that customers receive a high level of customer service outside of usual working hours.
* Work closely with the Fan Services Manager and Fan Services team to share best practice and ensure a consistent approach across all enquiries and complaints no matter what their nature.
* Manage the flow of information between the Fan Centre, other departments and the customer, always delivering excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Who we are looking for: Essentially, we are looking for Customer Service professionals who have previous experience of delivering excellent customer service, both face to face and over the telephone and have handled/resolved customer complaints to a positive outcome.
If you are committed to providing excellent customer service at all times, enjoy working as part of a team and have a proactive ‘can-do’ approach to your work then we at Everton Football Club would love to hear from you!
We have a mixture of permanent and 12-month fixed-term contracts, working 35 hours per week, plus matchdays.
The closing date of this advert is Monday 6th January 2025.
We reserve the right to close this vacancy early should we receive a substantial amount of applications.
