Salary: £32,106 - £34,080 per annum (dependent on experience)
Shift: Monday to Wednesday 9am to 5pm, Thursday 9am to 4.45pm & Friday 9am to 5pm (36 hours per week)
Location: Radar Road, Leicester (with travel between sites)
Hybrid: 2 / 3 days per week onsite
As a Senior MI Analyst within the Incident Business Systems Team, supporting Senior Management, your role involves creating and enhancing new reporting and analysis using various systems to reduce customer detriment and business impact through swift and accurate analysis.
Additionally, you'll assist the Incident Manager in building and overseeing the reporting and data infrastructure for the Next Customer Service Online Operations across our contact centres.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Take ownership of report implementation from understanding and clarifying requirements through to development and implementation.
2. Support project with expertise and knowledge of reporting systems advising of best practices and optimum set up of data structures.
3. Create, analyse and then provide accurate management information/reporting and forecasting as required by the department/business on a daily/weekly/monthly and adhoc basis within the timescales agreed.
4. Interpret and communicate factual and accurate findings, along with your recommendations for improvement to the management team.
5. Pitch the tone of your audience and have the ability to communicate complex/technical information in layman's terms.
6. Take initiative to seek new methods and present solutions to problems for management to consider.
7. Create business models to continually assess the performance/costs of current suppliers and provide recommendations to assist with budgeting, cost control and future contracts.
8. Produce and understand departmental KPI’S in line with Senior Management requirements.
9. Act as an initial point of contact for other areas of the business in relation to contract and system queries.
10. Act as a mentor and support the development of junior Analysts.
11. Have a flexible approach to working hours in line with the business needs/requirements.
Who we’re looking for:
12. Previous experience at a senior or similar level.
13. BI Reporting and Visualisation Tool. knowledge/experience - Cognos, Power BI, Tableau, Looker etc.
14. High level of SQL ability.
15. Problem solving capabilities/critical thinking.
16. Excellent time management skills.
17. High attention to detail.
18. Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
Preferable
19. Experience of working with Contact Centre Metrics.
20. Experience of change management.
21. Experience in working with Microsoft Azure Platform eco-system ( Azure data lake, Azure data factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Data bricks, Power BI etc) would be highly desirable.
22. Experience in Data Engineering for Data Quality, Data Lineage, Data Governance.
23. Having knowledge and experience of SQL, Access, Business Objects and Power Pivots.
24. Project Management experience.
