We are looking for an enthusiastic Administrator to join our busy Governance Team, which sits within the wider Executive team.
This is a part-time role, working 25 hours per week. This must include a Tuesday, with the rest of the working pattern to be agreed. There is also an option to work 30 hours for the first 15 months of the role due to upcoming maternity leave in the team.
The ideal candidate will have experience of office administration, excellent minute taking skills, and previous experience of working in a governance setting. They will also be able to handle situations with tact and to a high degree of confidentiality.
Key responsibilities will include providing administrative support across a full range of Governance activities, including providing support to Cottsway’s Board & Committees and being a key contact for Board members. The role will suit someone who enjoys undertaking a variety of administration tasks including scheduling meetings; processing expenses; maintaining accurate records and registers and taking minutes and action notes of meetings.
Requirements:
- Experience of office administration
- Ability to learn subject matter relevant to the role
- Ability to use MS Office, mainly Word, Excel and Outlook and to learn in-house systems
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, including an excellent telephone manner
- Self-motivated, with a conscientious and positive attitude
- Good time management and ability to prioritise own work
- Maintain a methodical and detail-conscious approach
