Reward Consultant
£40,000 to £50,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 6A)
We’re looking for a Reward Consultant to join us and help support the design and delivery of proactive reward solutions that enhance our Co-op’s ability to attract, retain and develop talented colleagues.
In this role, you’ll complete detailed and complex analysis to resolve reward challenges and to inform decision making whilst working collaboratively with colleagues across the Co-op. You’ll provide advice and support on reward policy and practices, such as job evaluation, benchmarking, salary modelling, and salary change administration. What you’ll do
1. Use market data and supportive analysis you’ll work with reward managers and people coaches to provide advice and guidance on the reward policy and practices
2. Lead on design and implementation of small-scale change projects
3. Support on medium or large-scale changes, taking ownership for elements of the overall deliverable
4. Support on the design and delivery on Annual Salary Reviews by completing data modelling
5. Make sure we’re up to date and compliant with changes in legislation
6. Represent reward on the job evaluation panel
7. Drive a focus on continuous improvement in all aspects of reward delivery
This role would suit people who have
8. Advanced Excel skills (complex models and formulas), with the ability to deal with large volumes of data and to manipulate that data to identify issues and trends
9. Existing reward experience, or HR experience with some exposure to reward
10. Good communication skills with the ability to communicate technical subject matter to a non-technical audience to build engagement and understanding
11. The ability to think creatively, and work with a range of people to develop innovative reward solutions
12. Experience with salary benchmarking and annual salary reviews
13. Training, knowledge, or exposure to job evaluation
