As the new HR Business Partner, you will be CIPD level 7 qualified and have experience of working in large complex organisations with Education sector experience in HR. You should have experience working with Union colleagues and extensive experience of employee relations casework. A good current knowledge of employment law with an emphasis on redundancy/restructuring and TUPE legislation is essential. Understanding of education terms and conditions (Burgundy Book, Green Book) and pay bargaining processes (STPCD and NJC) is required. Familiarity with the principles of job evaluation and knowledge of HAY job evaluation systems is also necessary. You must demonstrate business partnering skills and be able to represent HR at a senior level.
