The Role – Compliance Manager
As the Compliance Manager, you’ll play a critical role in overseeing and continuously improving the company’s compliance and audit systems, ensuring they meet high standards and relevant regulations. Your key responsibilities include:
Leadership in Compliance: Managing the company’s systems to ensure continuous improvement in processes, quality, and safety.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Working with all teams to support high-quality projects for domestic and international clients.
Environmental Reporting: Leading efforts to report greenhouse gas emissions under ISO 14064.
Audit Leadership: Leading the internal audit committee and coordinating external audits with accrediting bodies, customers, and third parties.
Documentation & Legislation Compliance: Ensuring all company documentation is up to date and aligned with relevant legislation.
Supplier & Maintenance Monitoring: Overseeing supplier performance, legislative planned maintenance, and calibration processes.
Health & Safety Compliance: Working with third-party H&S partners and maintaining the COSHH register and risk assessments.
What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a compliance-minded individual with an industrial or engineering background who is eager to drive improvements and ensure the highest standards are met.
Essential Qualifications:
Formal engineering qualification
Experience with BSI standards and compliance management
Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and visual)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Flexibility in working hours to meet deadlines
Full driving licence
Desirable:
NEBOSH certification or formal training in quality, environmental, or health & safety
