SEN Teacher – Grimsby
Location: Grimsby, Lincolnshire
Pay: Starting at £140 per day (dependent on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 15:30 (Term time only)
Are you a dedicated educator with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges? We are seeking a compassionate and experienced SEN Teacher to join our team, working within specialist schools in the Grimsby area.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver tailored lessons that meet the unique needs of students with SEN/ASD/SEMH.
* Create a nurturing and supportive learning environment that promotes confidence and engagement.
* Manage and address challenging behaviour with a calm and constructive approach.
* Collaborate with teaching assistants, school staff, and parents to support student progress.
Minimum Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualifications.
* Experience working with SEN/ASD/SEMH students and managing challenging behaviours.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students and staff.
* A commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
