An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and skilled person to join our friendly and professionally established administration team within Elmleigh Hospital. The role is based on-site in Havant and the post holder will work alongside the multi-disciplinary team.
To provide a comprehensive administration service to the Elmleigh Team. The post holder will be responsible for the organisation of their own workload and delegated decisions/actions, as deemed appropriate by the Administration Manager or Team Leads. The post holder will be required to work as part of a team with other medical secretaries and provide cover during periods of staff absence. The needs of the service user will be the utmost priority. The principle of high quality customer care is at the heart of this role.
Main duties of the job
You must be able to:
1. Organise meetings with multiple people, take minutes of a range of complex meetings.
2. Work well both in a team and closely alongside the multi-disciplinary team.
3. Have previous experience of working with administration systems and be able to use MS Office.
4. Have previous secretarial experience.
5. Exhibit excellent interpersonal communication and customer care skills.
6. Maintain a very positive, methodical and calm approach to all aspects of their work while being able to multi-task.
7. Demonstrate good time management skills and the ability to prioritise their work appropriately with a flexible approach to their work and working environment.

* Minimum of 2 years' experience of secretary/admin role.
* Excellent standard of written and oral English.
