Alexander Daniels is urgently recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to join a leading family-owned business based in Birmingham on a full-time basis. Reporting directly into the Finance Manager, you'll be responsible for managing the end to end monthly payroll and maintaining accurate payroll data and records.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for processing monthly payrolls.
* Maintaining accurate employee records.
* Process Real Time Information (RTI) submissions to HMRC as required.
* Resolving pay-related queries, correcting any errors, and working with internal stakeholders to accurately complete payroll requests.
* Producing and reconciling payroll journals to ensure correct information is reported back to senior leadership.
* Downloading reports from HMRC and reconciling to PAYE control accounts.
* Other ad-hoc duties.
* Excellent data entry and data cleaning skills.
* Familiarity with payroll software.
* Knowledge of legislation and procedures pertaining to salary deductions.
* Adherence to all prescribed ethical guidelines, including confidentiality.
* Ability to work on own initiative, working within a team and the ability to meet deadlines.
