ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Activities Coordinator at our client's care home, you’ll help to create a stimulating environment that enables exceptional all-around care and support for our client's residents. Their ethos is all about celebrating life, so you’ll help to devise imaginative, fun and motivational activities that suit every interest and ability. An extremely rewarding role, part of your time will be spent getting to know our client's residents and their families before you create tailored activities programmes focused on maximising everyone’s wellbeing, independence and social engagement.
ABOUT YOU
You’ll need to be warm, empathetic and personable to join as an Activities Coordinator. Your organisational skills and driven mindset mean you always get things done and make things happen. Meanwhile, your infectious enthusiasm and creative approach will inspire our client's residents and staff to get involved in activities both within the home and in the local community.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Proficiency in Social Media Management: You must demonstrate expertise in managing social media platforms, with the ability to create engaging content while maintaining a consistent and professional brand voice across all channels.
2. Background in Activities Coordination: Ideally, you will have experience in activities coordination within a care home setting. However, applicants from other relevant activities backgrounds will also be considered if they can demonstrate transferable skills, fresh and creative ideas, and a real passion and enthusiasm for the role.
