Monkton Church of England Primary School are looking to appoint a highly motivated, friendly Receptionist/Administrative Assistant, to join our team of dedicated teaching and support staff. They will be the first point of contact for all parents and visitors to the school and provide administrative support for the efficient day-to-day running of the school with guidance and support from the School Business Manager and SLT.
The position is for 38 weeks (term-time) plus 2 weeks per year, to be agreed during school holidays/staff development days as required.
The post is for 37 hours per week:
Monday – Thursday: 8.30 am-4.30 pm
Friday 8.30 am-4.00 pm
Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential and previous experience of working within a school environment would be desirable. However, we welcome applications from all candidates with transferable office skills, a pro-active approach, the ability to work under pressure and a good sense of humour! The successful candidate will:
