Marketing & Campaigns Intern - 12 Months FTC, starting July 2025 (University Placement Year). Full time, fixed term position, Wallington based, hybrid-working (2-3 office days per week). The opportunity As a Marketing & Campaigns Intern, you will have an incredible opportunity to learn about the travel industry and deliver exceptional customer experiences from the leading independent tour operator in the UK. This is a one-year placement where you will roll your sleeves up and get stuck into a busy marketing and sales team within the most exciting industry in the world. You will be working across our B2C marketing, campaigns and direct mail activity as well as supporting our B2B Marketing and Media Partnerships. You will be learning about everything that involves selling wish-list holidays through different channels and ensuring our marketing is in line with our brand guidelines. Working closely with our Marketing Manager, Marketing Executives and our Studio team, this role will be heavily focused on the planning, coordination, communication and supply of company marketing campaigns and collateral. Key responsibilities Proofreading: Working to tight deadlines, ensuring accuracy when proofreading, and signing off artwork such as campaign assets, direct mail, and campaign collateral. Campaign planning support: Be responsible for maintaining and managing the campaign schedule document. Support with the coordination and the production of digital and printed assets for campaigns. Campaign communication : Ensure that all campaign information and assets are created and shared with the wider business and relevant departments Brand: Support the Marketing Manager & Marketing Executives in keeping the brand identities consistent across all channels, including sourcing branded merchandise for the business. Direct mail/production: Support the Marketing Executives in all aspects of production, scheduling for the marketing department, and ensuring collateral is produced, tracked and delivered on time. A keen eye for detail is required to support our checking processes and to ensure that our marketing collateral is correct (covering everything from creative to pricing). Support end to end on our monthly Direct Mail process from kick-off to the completion of the project with the supply of data and checking of data proofs. Relationship management: Gain a full understanding of the relationship with our print and mailing partners as well as other external suppliers to ensure speedy delivery of information between businesses. Wider team support: A willingness to support wider team and business projects that come up on an ad-hoc basis. This is a great opportunity to learn about other departments across Newmarket Holidays and our operation. Additional learning and engagement opportunities: Over the course of your internship you will have the opportunity to take part in company supported charity/volunteering days, join our internal sustainability working group to brainstorm and plan marketing, activities and events for this area, and attend creative brainstorms to come up with marketing ideas we can test and partake in competitor analysis projects and meetings.
