About Job: The role involves managing the marketing communications and product management of Welland's pouch and accessory product portfolio. This position is responsible for ensuring that all marketing efforts align with corporate objectives and marketing plans, aiming to enhance product visibility and support overall business growth. Main Duties & Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Head of Sales & Marketing (HS&M) to develop a comprehensive Marketing Plan that supports Welland’s product ranges and marketing communications. Assist the HS&M in defining the company's strategic product direction. Stay fully informed on external market influences affecting the industry landscape. Manage the product portfolio with regular lifecycle planning. Support and conduct market research, including internal desk research and targeted customer and end-user studies. Design and implement marketing strategies tailored to specific geographic and demographic needs. Assist in the development of the Sales and Marketing plan and budget with the HS&M. Track and report competitor and market activity on a monthly basis. Lead the launch of new product ranges, from development through to execution of launch plans in collaboration with the marketing team. Oversee daily management of the marketing messaging and product management teams. Manage the marketing budget with HS&M support, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Support the management of specific New Product Development (NPD) projects as needed. Coordinate with Welland’s R&D, Operations, and QARA teams to ensure thorough product evaluations are conducted and documented. Provide product marketing support to internal and external customers, maintaining consistent communication of Welland brand guidelines. Assist in organizing and attending key exhibitions, distributor meetings, and other significant events. Conduct gap analysis to identify new market opportunities. Cultivate strong relationships with distributors, product users, healthcare professionals, and market influencers. Lead the development, mentoring, and training of the product management team. Oversee the ECMA process for artwork approvals. Ensure the sales team has access to all necessary marketing, training, and brand support tools. Serve as the process owner for marketing-related procedures. Conduct product training sessions and participate in staff inductions. Present at internal and external meetings as needed. Prepare a monthly report on market updates, new product development projects, and product evaluations. Personal Competencies: Essential: Bachelors degree in Business Management, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or Advertising. Over 5 years of experience in Marketing and/or Product Management, preferably within the healthcare sector. Proven experience in people management, demonstrating leadership and team development skills. Strong expertise in product management, including portfolio management and product life cycle management. Budget management experience and good numerical skills Proficient in market research, with hands-on experience in organizing exhibitions and events. Skilled in creating digital content and managing social media platforms. Experienced in website management and content creation, ensuring effective online presence and engagement. Exceptional copyrighting abilities with a keen attention to detail. Strong data analysis skills, complemented by effective presentation capabilities. Excellent oral and written communication skills, complemented by strong organizational and time management abilities. Self-motivated and adaptable, with a willingness to learn and grow. Commercially minded, demonstrating robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Experienced in both independent and collaborative team environments, fostering a cooperative approach.
