Person Specification
Driving High-Quality and Sustainable Outcomes
Essential Criteria:
1. A demonstrable interest in health and social care and a strong desire to achieve the best sustainable outcomes for all patients and service users through encouraging continuous improvement, clinical excellence, and value for money.
2. Strong understanding of financial management, with the ability to balance the competing objectives of quality, operational performance, and finance.
3. An appreciation of constitutional and regulatory NHS standards.
Setting Strategy and Delivering Long-Term Transformation
Essential Criteria:
1. Experience of leading and delivering against long-term vision and strategy.
2. Experience leading transformational change, managing complex organisations, budgets, and people.
Promoting Equality and Inclusion, and Reducing Health and Workforce Inequalities
Essential Criteria:
1. A clear commitment towards the achievement of equality, diversity, and inclusion.
2. Significant experience of engaging with the diverse social, economic, and cultural groups served by the Trust.

1. Providing robust governance and assurance.
2. Evidence of successfully demonstrating the NHS Leadership competencies in other leadership roles.

Essential Criteria:
1. A clear commitment to the NHS and the Trust's values.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
