Sonderwell is currently recruiting experienced Live-In Carers to provide person-focused care to clients with complex needs within their own homes. If you are passionate about caring for vulnerable individuals and have the experience to deliver exceptional care, they want to hear from you.
Main duties of the job
As a Live-In Carer at Sonderwell, you will be living with the client in their own home, providing support with daily tasks and personal care. The role requires a commitment to living with the client for a minimum of 2 weeks at a time. You will stay with the client at all times, except during your designated break periods each day.

Job responsibilities
Weekly Pay: £960.96 Plus Food allowance Location: Okehampton Shift: 7 days per week. Minimum 2 weeks on shift.

Client Conditions: Our client requires support with daily tasks and has mental health challenges, specifically depression.
Supporting You: Working as a Sonderwell Carer is about more than just providing care. It’s about building trust with clients and their families. If you have a caring personality and relevant experience, we will provide comprehensive online and classroom training specific to complex care needs. You will also have the opportunity to study for an NVQ in care.
Work Environment: Depending on the client, you may be working independently or as part of a team. If you’re available, you could also provide care to more than one client. Before you begin, you will have the chance to meet your client and their family to ensure a smooth transition. Ongoing support will be provided by a Care Co-ordinator or Nurse Manager, and you will have access to our “Carer App” for additional insights and information.
