Graduate Humanities Teaching Assistant – What You’ll Be Doing:
• Supporting students in subjects such as history, geography, religious studies, and social sciences
• Assisting teachers with the preparation and delivery of lessons and activities
• Providing 1:1 or small group support to help students understand key concepts and succeed in assessments
• Encouraging active participation in classroom discussions and activities
• Helping students with their research, analysis, and critical thinking skills
• Collaborating with teachers to assess students' progress and adjust learning strategies
• Promoting students’ enthusiasm for the humanities and fostering a love for learning
• Supporting students in building their confidence and academic self-esteem
Graduate Humanities Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:
• A 2:1 degree or higher in Humanities, History, Geography, Religious Studies, or a related field
• A genuine passion for teaching and helping students succeed academically
• Strong subject knowledge in one or more humanities disciplines
• Previous experience in an educational setting is desirable, but not essential
• Patience, empathy, and flexibility to meet the diverse needs of students
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly and engagingly
• A proactive attitude and eagerness to make a difference in students' academic journeys
• An interest in pursuing a career in education, teaching, or educational support
