The Inventory Finance Analyst role involves reconciling physical stock with records, investigating discrepancies, managing consignment purchase orders and returns, creating payment and credit forms, performing manual stock adjustments, maintaining vendor reconciliation logs, and preparing balance sheet reconciliations. Financial tasks include ensuring accuracy in stock records, resolving discrepancies, and collaborating with the Purchase Ledger team. Client Details Our client is a well-established organisation within the retail industry. Operating on a large scale, they have a significant presence in Bristol. You'll be working closely with the Senior Inventory Finance Analyst and other senior members of the business. Description The key responsibilities of the Inventory Finance Analyst include: Reconciling physical stock with records and vendor files. Investigating discrepancies during reconciliations or stock counts. Managing consignment purchase orders and returns. Creating payment and credit forms to support stock adjustments. Performing authorised manual stock adjustments in ERP systems. Maintaining vendor reconciliation logs. Preparing balance sheet reconciliations. Profile A successful Inventory Finance Analyst should have: Experience working with inventory/stock & finance. Previously worked within financial analysis/forecasting. Able to collaborate with other departments (e.g Purchase Ledger department) Comfortable challenging discrepancies. Must be strong with excel and an accounting software. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
