Requirements:
We are looking for candidates with recent Public Sector project experience and active SC Clearance. You should have expertise in Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS infrastructure using Terraform. Proven experience debugging complex, multi-server services in high-availability production environments is essential. Strong communication skills are required to convey technical concepts to diverse stakeholders. Additionally, you should be proficient in automation tools (e.g., Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Concourse, GitLab CI). Knowledge of networking, load balancing, and version control systems like Git/GitHub/GitLab is necessary. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Graphite, Grafana, ELK, Prometheus) and database experience with SQL and NoSQL systems are also required. Hands-on experience with HashiCorp tools (Packer, Terraform, Vault, Consul) is a plus. Finally, we seek someone who can provide technical leadership, guiding projects and mentoring team members.
Your responsibilities:
As our AWS Platform Engineer, you will support the build and deployment of CI/CD pipelines while leveraging DevOps automation. You will shape the design of critical components for high-impact Public Sector Programmes. Your technical expertise will be vital in leading projects, and you will have the opportunity to mentor and guide team members, ensuring the team's continuous development and success.

Benefits & perks that we offer:
This position is located in Manchester and requires onsite work for 6 days per month. The salary for this role can be up to £95,000 depending on experience, along with an annual bonus of 10%. You will receive 25 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays, Bupa Private Medical Cover, and a pension scheme with a 10% contribution (4% Employee and 6% Employer). The interview process consists of one stage, a 90-minute remote call.
