About the Role As a Site Liaison Officer, you will be our key contact between Site Managers on new build housing developments and our office, acting as first point of contact for all installation teams. This is a physical role that entails carrying out all field-based activities and working at heights. Reporting to our Installation and QC Manager in Scotland, you will carry out all field-based activities, ensuring smooth coordination and communication across Scotland and Northern England. Your main responsibilities include: Site meetings/liaison/pre-starts Day to day management responsibilities Undertaking installation works Pre and post installation surveys Site audits You will coordinate your weekly visits to cover all new build housing developments that Eco2Solar are installing solar PV systems to, in order to build relationships with Site Managers and be their first point of contact for any site related issues. You will receive technical training on all technical aspects of the Solar PV Installation to understand the system and effectively carry out pre-installation surveys. The role involves regular travel, for which a company van will be provided. A bout You To be successful in this role, you will need: Proven experience in a field-based role Full driving license Computer literacy (MS Applications) Experience in projects, site work, or construction CSCS card holder SSSTS certification (desirable) To be successful in this role you’ll have strong communication skills, have great attention to detail, be able to lead a team, be reliable and a team player. You will need to be able to undertake a full range of construction site duties including manual handling and working at heights, and be able to follow technical drawings and templates for surveys. You’ll be working across a number of areas so strong organisational skills are also a must. You’ll also have a strong team ethic, have a pro-active attitude and be able to demonstrate strong collaborative behaviors within a team and across organisation.
