We’re seeking a Content Manager to take ownership of our content strategy—creating fresh, insightful, and impactful materials that educate, inform, and inspire our global community. As Content Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping how BCI communicates with its members and the wider resilience community. You’ll be responsible for delivering a wide variety of content across multiple formats, working closely with internal teams, subject matter experts, and contributors. Key responsibilities Create compelling short-form content such as regular news articles, drawing on insights from BCI research, member contributions, and industry experts. Develop engaging visual content, including infographics and videos, to showcase and promote the work of the Thought Leadership (TL) team. Create and manage a LinkedIn Newsletter to expand our audience and increase engagement with our content. Design and deliver a podcast and webinar programme that reflects the interests and priorities of the resilience community, particularly BCI members. Collaborate with the Web Editor to ensure all digital content is SEO-optimised and published in a timely manner. Create and manage a content calendar, aligning with BCI campaigns and ensuring all teams are aware of upcoming themes and releases. Engage with BCI member groups, helping them generate relevant, high-quality content that adds value to the wider membership. Skills We’re seeking someone who is not only a great content creator, but also a strong communicator who can collaborate effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders across different countries and organizational levels. Essential skills and experience: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work confidently with diverse stakeholders. Experience creating short-form content for social media platforms. Strong copywriting and editing skills with knowledge of SEO and social media best practices. Strong attention to detail Ability to write engaging, accurate content for a professional audience. Competency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to translate data into meaningful stories and/or visuals. Proven time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and a fluctuating workload. Experience using content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools. A genuine interest in business continuity, crisis management, cyber, risk, and/or resilience topics and the broader industry landscape. Desirable: Proficiency in a second language, particularly Arabic, Japanese, Mandarin, or French. Familiarity with resilience related topics such as crisis management, risk, emergency response, supply chain, emerging technologies, AI, or cyber security.
