To assist the kitchen brigade in ensuringthat all kitchen areas are kept clean and tidy at alltimes. Ensure that all F&B outlets are providedwith clean and sanitised operating equipment. To utilizefoodhandling techniques which are in line with current Health andHygieneregulations.
Duties
* Ensureall kitchens are kept clean and tidy according to current Health& Hygiene regulations.
* To count sortand prepare operating equipment asrequired.
* Ensure correct handling of chemicalsand equipment as per manufacturersinstructions.
* Ensure all operating equipmentcrockery cutlery & glassware is hygienically cleaned andsafely stored.
* Follow the regular cleaningrosters and standard methods for deep cleaning of floors wallscoolers ovens & operating equipment.
* Tocontribute to cost control through energy conservation and thecareful use of water cleaning materials and otherappliances
* Ensure garbage is collected anddisposed of correctly from all kitchen areas eachshift.
* Utilise safe and hygienic methods forthe removal of dry and wet waste.
* Any otherreasonable request as required by your Supervisor or HotelManagement.
