What you’ll bedoing:
* Support the business in maintaining ISO certificationsand Operational Excellence, ensuring integration of all managementsystems where feasible to ensure streamlinedprocesses
Ensure theeffective management, monitoring and reporting and of an effectiverisk based SHE audit programme (3 year plan) including conductinginternal SHE audits and supporting (in in some case coordinating orleading) external audits (LRQA, BSI, HSE,EA) Reviewingreported accidents / incidents / near misses and hazardobservations in line with BAE Systems Significant Injury, Illnessand Fatality (SIF) standard and guidance, ensuring suitableinvestigations completed, root cause analysis and providingaccurate reports to SeniorManagement Support SharedServices Facilities Management monitor SHE performance in line withCompany requirements, hosting annual Safety Maturity Matrixreviews, assisting with development and management of ImprovementPlans Support SharedServices Facilities Management with the identification andmanagement of SHE training for the various job roles and thebusiness risk profile, delivering awareness training asrequired Assure thedeployment of new or revised business stream specific SHEdocumentation processes foreffectiveness
Your skills andexperiences:
Essential:
* Expert SHE knowledge and domain knowledge aroundfacilitiesmanagement
Practicalunderstanding of Energy Management and Systems. (i.e. ISO50001/ESOS) Professional SHEqualification such as NEBOSH Diploma, Degree or EnvironmentalDiploma
Desirable:
* Practical Lead auditor skills (ISO 14001 / ISO45001)Lead Auditor qualification
Trainingdeliveryqualification Food Safetyaudit qualification

The SHETeam:
This role isleading a small team providing SHE support to the provision ofFacilities Management services by Shared Services. The role willwork closely with colleagues in both Shared Services, our partnersin the supply chain and the widerbusiness. You will haveexcellent exposure to all areas of BAE Systems, providing a variedand rewarding workload which contributes directly to providing thehigh standard of facilities required by BAE Systems to deliver it’sservices. You will have the chance to influence across the SHE andFacilities Management team and support the continual improvement ofthe Shared Services strategy for SHEoperations Why BAESystems?
