Main duties of the job
The Appointee, together with colleagues, will have a commitment to the provision of Hepatology. The majority of work will be specialist hepatology incorporating the appointee’s desired subspecialty interest.
Ward cover is provided on a rotational basis when the Consultants take part in ‘hot’ weeks for 2 weeks at a time. The successful candidate will also cover outpatient and endoscopy sessions.
A specific interest in Autoimmune Liver Diseases will be welcomed, but all subspecialty interests are also encouraged. The expectation is to provide a 1:11 on-call commitment and out of hours cover.
