The Payroll Team is part of a Shared Services structure which provides services to both St Margaret’s Anglican Girls School and St Aidan’s Anglican Girls School. The Payroll Professional will be based at both St Margaret’s Anglican Girls School in Ascot and St Aidan’s Anglican Girls School in Corinda with the option to work from home one day per week. THE ROLE The Payroll Professional undertakes the payroll function and ensures the efficient and effective delivery of payroll services for the schools. Some key responsibilities of the role include: • Preparing and administering the payroll for both Schools • Ensuring a high level of security is maintained with respect to payroll information • Providing accurate and timely advice and assistance to School employees on a range of payroll-related issues • Assisting with payroll-related projects and the constant development and improvement of payroll services provided to employees • Carrying out administration requirements of Payroll ABOUT YOU The successful candidate will be experienced in payroll, with strong communication and interpersonal skills and an excellent work ethic. You must have exceptional attention to detail and a strong service focus. You will have demonstrated experience processing multiple weekly payrolls in a timely and accurate manner. Experience using Access Micropay and ConnX HRMS would be highly regarded, although not essential. More importantly, the successful candidate will be someone who thrives on accuracy and the deadline driven nature of payroll and will possess a working knowledge of the relevant legislation and compliance requirements of payroll. The ability to work autonomously and demonstrate initiative, along with the ability to maintain and develop systems and procedures to meet deadlines and commitments, will be among your best attributes.
