Role Overview
Job Title: SEO Manager
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven SEO Manager to lead and implement our search engine optimisation strategy. This role is crucial in driving organic growth, increasing visibility, and improving search rankings to enhance conversions. You will work closely with the marketing team to optimise on-site and off-site SEO performance, ensuring best practices are followed in technical SEO, content strategy, and link-building efforts.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic.
* Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for growth.
* Optimise website structure, on-page elements, and metadata for SEO performance.
* Collaborate with developers to ensure best practices for site architecture, crawlability, page speed, and mobile optimisation.
* Develop structured SEO strategies aligned with business KPIs, creating roadmaps, forecasts, and performance reports to drive organic growth.
* Oversee the content strategy for SEO, ensuring alignment with business objectives and target audiences.
* Manage link-building strategies, including outreach, partnerships, and PR-driven SEO initiatives.
* Monitor and report on SEO performance metrics, using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush.
* Stay up to date with algorithm updates, industry trends, and emerging SEO technologies to keep Berganza ahead of competitors.
* Work closely with the paid advertising team to align organic and paid search strategies.
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as an SEO Manager or similar role in a luxury, e-commerce, or high-end retail environment.
* Strong understanding of technical SEO, on-page and off-page optimisation, and content strategy.
* Experience using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog.
* Knowledge of website development, HTML, JavaScript, and structured data is a plus.
* Experience in optimising for international markets advantageous.
* Ability to work with designers, developers, and copywriters to implement SEO-friendly website improvements.
* Strong analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision-making.
* Excellent communication and project management skills.
* A passion for luxury, antiques, and vintage jewellery is advantageous.
* Ability to work cross-functionally.
