Job Title: Commercial Gas Engineer
Location: Telford
Salary: 46k per annum
I am currently working on behalf of a large FM and maintenance company, seeking an experienced and qualified commercial gas engineer. This will be a mobile based role covering a few commercial sites in and around Telford. Ideally, the candidate has experience working within commercial environments carrying out all areas of commercial gas maintenance and minor remedial tasks.
Package includes:
1. Mobile role with Van and Fuel card
2. Overtime Available, Call out rota with GBP115 standby
3. Core hours Monday to Friday - 40 hours a week

As a Gas Engineer, the post holder is responsible for:
1. Planning and carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs to Commercial/Industrial boilers.
2. Completing inspection and gas safety check certificates.
3. Ensuring that Planned Preventative Maintenance is carried out in line with task schedules, frequencies, and industry best practices.
4. Identifying any defects found and providing parts list and estimated timescales to complete the defects.
5. Ensuring Boilers are transported and handled in accordance with current Health & Safety Regulations.
6. Establishing and maintaining a good working relationship with all colleagues and customers.
7. Carrying out installation, repairs, maintenance, and plan operational duties, working with various systems and reporting as requested.
8. Likely involvement with appliances such as small scale plant rooms, centralized heating boilers, gas heaters, etc.
9. Visiting customer premises (commercial) to fit, service, and repair boilers and centralized heating systems that have broken down.
10. Assessing, dismantling, repairing, or replacing relevant parts.
11. Supporting the field service team and upkeeping and maintaining various internal operational processes.
The Ideal candidate must have the following:
1. Commercial Tickets - need either COCN1 or CODNCO1
2. Commercial Catering Tickets - Highly Desirable
3. Domestic Gas Qualifications - Desirable
4. Experience working within commercial environments
5. Driving licence
6. IPAF & PASMA
7. OFTEC - Desirable
8. Multi-skilled experience within minor electrical / Fabric tasks
