The Role Due to our continued growth, we are now looking for an HR Manager - a key position responsible for overseeing all HR-related activities at our sites in Huntingdon, Cambs and Biggleswade, Beds. The HR Manager’s role will involve developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives, managing training programs, leading the relaunch of the induction pack, facilitating staff appraisals, and acting as the point of contact for all HR issues. In this role, you will ensure that all HR practices align with the companies' goals and foster a positive work environment. Key Responsibilities: Recruitment - defining recruitment requirements, identifying appropriate advertising platforms, managing the recruitment lifecycle through to successful onboarding. Induction Pack Relaunch - Lead the relaunch of the induction pack for new employees ensuring that the induction is informative and engaging. Update induction materials regularly to reflect current company practices. Training Matrix - Develop and maintain a comprehensive training matrix for all staff, identifying training needs and create training plans to address skill gaps. Training Plans - Develop and implement training plans for all staff, ensuring all staff receive appropriate training for their roles. Staff Appraisals - Develop and implement a staff appraisal system, conducting regular staff appraisals and provide feedback to employees. Point of Contact for HR Issues - Act as the primary point of contact for all HR issues providing advice and support on all HR-Related matters. Review of Contracts - Conduct regular reviews of employee contracts ensuring they are all up to date and comply legally. Skills and Qualifications You will be CIPD Level 5 qualified or above with proven experience as an HR Manager. Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws. Effective communicator with great interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR software (Work Smarter preferably but not essential). A great leader with the ability to solve problems and think outside of the box.
