About the Role
As a Domiciliary Care Branch Manager, you will be responsible for setting up and driving the operations of an exciting new branch in Sudbury, Suffolk. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of home care services in the area while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, client-centered care.
Your role will involve overseeing all aspects of the branch's operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and leading a dedicated team of professionals. With a focus on quality, safety, and client satisfaction, you'll play a pivotal role in improving the lives of those who rely on care services to maintain their independence at home.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership & Management
o Recruit, train, supervise, and inspire a high-performing team of caregivers, nurses, and administrative staff.
o Foster a positive and supportive work environment, setting clear goals and encouraging professional development.
2. Operational Excellence
o Manage client intake, scheduling, and care planning to ensure seamless service delivery.
o Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to drive branch success.
3. Client Focus
o Build strong relationships with clients and their families, conducting assessments and developing tailored care plans.
o Address client concerns promptly, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and well-being.
4. Quality Assurance & Compliance
o Implement quality control processes and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
o Conduct audits and inspections to maintain the highest standards of care.
5. Community Engagement & Business Development
o Develop relationships with referral sources, such as healthcare providers and community organizations, to promote services.
o Participate in local events and networking opportunities to build awareness of the branch.
6. Risk & Resource Management
o Conduct risk assessments, ensure staff training on safety protocols, and manage resources effectively to maintain financial sustainability.
What We're Looking For
1. Proven experience in a management role within domiciliary care (essential).
2. Strong knowledge of CQC standards and compliance requirements.
3. Exceptional leadership and communication skills with a passion for team development.
4. A strategic thinker with business acumen and a track record of achieving growth.
5. NVQ Level 4/5 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
6. Full UK driving license.
