Job title: Principal Quality Engineer

Salary: £40,748+ Dependent of skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
* Supporting the Supplier Quality Assurance Team (SQA) in Supplier Quality Development
* Facilitating Lean Six Sigma Projects within Supplier Quality Assurance and related business areas
* Working with an expanding team of Continuous Improvement and Project professionals
* Communicating with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered in a timely manner adding value to the business
* Using data, analytics and technology to identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and/or effectiveness of supplier related processes/products
Your skills and experiences:
* Working understanding of Operational Excellence/Continuous Improvement methodologies including Lean and Six Sigma
* Valid UK Drivers License (extensive travel required for this position)
* Manufacturing and Quality Engineering or Management experience or Equivalent
* FAIR, PPAP, MSA, APQP knowledge/experience would be advantageous
* Presentation/teaching/training experience
The Quality Team:
As a Principal Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for managing your time around project specific activities, supporting the SQA team where required playing a vital part of the team. You will be a Quality professional capable of managing your own tasks and delivering results within specified timelines. Specifically Continuous Improvement/Lean Six Sigma driven, you will facilitate projects that are vital to the success of the department/business.
