An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated, and creative marketing & digital engagement professional with a flexible approach to join us and contribute to the vital work of the Lymphoedema Wales Clinical Network.
Previous experience and/or knowledge of the work of the NHS would be an advantage but not essential. A good knowledge and experience of creating compelling content, including digital service user stories, video content, and social media graphics, is vital.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome.
Main duties of the job
The Marketing & Digital Engagement Officer will be responsible for planning, creating, and publishing engaging promotional content through various communication channels to raise the profile of the Lymphoedema Wales Clinical Network. You will join the established and award-winning Lymphoedema National Team supporting Value-Based Healthcare, sharing the ethos of avoiding unnecessary variation to ensure the most effective and efficient delivery of services.
Working alongside the wider team, the post holder will lead in creating a range of compelling content, including bulletins, annual reports, case studies, digital service user stories, video content, social media graphics, posters, patient leaflets, and other promotional materials. These will cover topics such as health promotion, lymphoedema self-management, embedding PIFU, and general promotion of the network.
You will collaborate with network members and key stakeholders to generate positive coverage of activities, developments, events, training, and campaigns through supporting communication efforts.
The candidate should have strong digital content creation skills to ensure all content is maximized for impact across channels, especially targeting hard-to-reach areas.
The post is hosted by SBUHB but is a National All Wales role.
