The Opportunity
As a Bridge Maintenance Operative, you’ll support our trade teams in daily tasks such as installing access systems, performing bridge repairs, and carrying out essential maintenance. You’ll also handle driving duties, such as collecting and delivering materials from suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Performing routine bridge maintenance and cyclic tasks.
2. Assisting skilled trade teams as required.
3. Handling driving and material delivery duties.
Your Skills and Experience
We are interested in hearing from candidates with the following qualifications and skills:
Essential:
1. Relevant qualification/experience, such as SVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).
2. Ability to work to strict deadlines and as part of a cohesive team.
3. Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces.
4. A full, approved UK driving licence.
Desirable Skills (Training Available for the Right Candidate):
1. Proficiency with power tools (e.g., grinders, drills).
2. Experience operating telehandlers, HIABs, or with abrasive wheels.
