Job Description
* Assisting in the preparation of tax returns and computations
* Supporting the management of a portfolio of clients
* Dealing professionally with HMRC and other third parties
* Preparing tax advisory letters for review
* Supporting senior staff in tax planning and projects
* Ensuring compliance with internal procedures including client take-on and managing client risk
* Keeping up to date with changes in tax law and writing technical updates for internal use
* Developing strong relationships with clients and understanding their business
The Successful Applicant
A successful Tax Semi-Senior should have:
* A degree in a relevant subject
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience with tax software and Microsoft Office
* A proactive and organised approach
* A commitment to delivering excellent client service
