** The Role As the ER Advisor*
You will be responsible for providing Employee Relations advice and coaching to line managers across our estate, with the aim to improve compliance and manager confidence. As well as this, a key gauge of success in this role is to have a positive impact on our culture. With a passion for hospitality, you'll want to create the best experience for our team members and managers whilst driving commercial success in our pubs.

This is a field-based role, so you'll travel to our unique venues regularly to support ER investigations and hearings.
*Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide day-to-day People support across multiple sites. Offer first-line support and advice to managers for ER case queries. Attend ER investigations and hearings, there will be a mixture of remote and onsite attendance. Deliver ER bitesize training to large groups of managers on a regular basis. Coach and challenge line managers in their approach and delivery to ensure continuous improvement to ensure the company is consistently improving the team member experience. Attend Area Meetings to represent The People Team as and when necessary. Conduct People Audit Checks to ensure compliance and recommend improvements. Stay current with employment law legislation updates, and best practices in employee relations. Focus on key People KPIs such as labour costs, attrition, vacancies, and absence rates. To report on case volumes, case status and trends and update the HRBP on cases within that are more complex or considerable risk in nature. Keep policies and contract templates updated inline with legislation. Where ETs arise, to support the HRBP with the collation of bundles and defence against claims. To support the HRBP with restructuring projects, redundancies and TUPE situations where required. Support GM/ Ops Managers with the use of Harri (ATS/Recruitment) and Fourth (HRIS & Payroll) system when needed. Represent the People Team at Careers & Recruitment events. Flexibility to travel across the UK, including overnight stays. *
** Qualifications & Experience: *
Experience in a field-based HR role within a fast-paced, multisite environment, preferably in hospitality or retail. Experience in the hospitality sector is desired but not essential. Experience in delivering ER training sessions to large groups of managers. Confidence to challenge and coach line managers on their approach and delivery techniques. An encouraging and motivational communication style. Good knowledge of employment law, HR best practices and Right to Work compliance. Ability to break down detailed ER evidence to make complex cases easier to understand and manage. Ability to escalate unclear or conflicting priorities to the HRBP. Ability to drive commercial performance through people processes. Ability to interpret and collate data to support decision-making. CIPD level 3 qualified.
