This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional candidate to join a successful and forward-thinking school and trust. Required from April 2025, we wish to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic, and highly motivated Head of Science with the ability to lead and teach at all ages 11-16.
Longdendale High School is a successful and popular comprehensive 11-16 academy set at the edge of the Peak District on the border of Tameside and Derbyshire. We have a current intake of 800 students with cohorts typically above the national average in terms of prior attainment.

The successful candidate will further develop the curriculum and teaching experience across science. The successful candidate will work to provide outstanding learning opportunities and instil a love of learning.
