You’ve got experience in asset management, property management, or leasing, and you're eager to dive into our diverse portfolio and the exciting areas we work in. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and with a team of two, the Senior Asset and Property Manager will:
Drive value: through active management you will minimise vacancies, whilst on the lookout for opportunities to improve our properties. Whether it’s through refurbishments, extensions, or redevelopments, you will work hand in hand with our talented in-house projects team to make it all happen.
Growing income: using your great relationships with tenants, you will negotiate favourable lease renewals long before they expire and handle rent reviews to get the best possible rents.
Leadership: you will inspire and motivate your team (Estates Manager and Trainee Surveyor) and suggest ways the business can continue to improve the workplace whilst developing a collaborative approach across the company to get things done.
Financial targets: meet and exceed budgeted rent, occupancy and expenditure targets.
Tenant satisfaction and retention : you will oversee the day-to-day management of a designated portfolio of commercial properties. By fostering strong relationships with our occupiers, you’ll take pride in maintaining the presentation of all properties, collaborating with our in-house maintenance team to handle repairs, planned work, and dilapidations, while also effectively managing service charges.
Oversee tenant covenants and compliance: with excellent working relationship and communication with tenants, local authorities and solicitors to ensure that tenant covenants and relevant standards are followed.
Commercial property experience in managing assets to day-to-day tenant and landlord issues, you’ll be happy to get involved in whatever needs to be done.
